Jagmeet Singh

NDP Leader

Jagmeet Singh's "F-" score as a party leader is based on assessment of his personal leadership on 8 measurement categories relating to policy, voting, or actions, summarized as follows:

Summary of Actions

0
Good
8
Bad
0
Neutral
Voting Record
Bad

Singh has a deplorable voting record throughout his political career, first as an Ontario provincial MPP and then as a federal MP, voting the wrong way 16 out of the 18 times that issues of life, parental rights and freedom of conscience arose.

Sanctity of Life
Bad

Singh is a hard core pro-abortionist who believes that the practice of having an abortionist dismember and decapitate children in the womb is somehow a genuine “right”.

He often uses the euphemistic expression of “reproductive rights” to hide the reality that every abortion is a violent assault on a baby in the womb.

Singh is also a strong supporter of the forms of homicide called euthanasia and assisted suicide.

Transgender Ideology
Bad

Singh is fully on-board with transgender ideology including the un-scientific theories of gender identity, multiple genders and gender fluidity. He is so radical that when President Donald Trump signed an executive order on January 20, 2025 stating that going forward the U.S. government would only recognize two genders - male and female - Mr. Singh reacted by telling reporters that he would consider amending the safe third country agreement with the U.S. to help bring sexually-confused, "transgender" Americans into Canada as "refugees".

Singh speaks as if he is oblivious to the fact that Gender Dysphoria is still listed in the official Diagnostics & Statistics Manual (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association as a mental disorder.

The NDP Leader seems to labour under the erroneous belief that this form of sexual confusion is something that people are born with and is unchangeable, like skin color or eye color, which it is not.

Marriage & the Family
Bad

Despite identifying himself as a person of the Sikh faith, Singh strongly opposes the true definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

Open Nominations
Bad

Singh does not support a democratic nomination process in the NDP’s candidate selection process.

For many years, the NDP has banned Canadians who oppose abortion from being able to run as candidates. Likewise for those who believe in the biblical definition of marriage.

Singh has continued this discriminatory NDP policy since taking over as Leader.

Free Speech
Bad

Singh opposes freedom of expression for socially-conservative Canadians, as well as freedom of religion. As an Ontario MPP, he voted for legislation which undermined these fundamental freedoms.

Drugs
Bad

Jagmeet Singh is in favor of decriminalizing marijuana, the dangerous gateway drug to harder narcotics like cocaine and heroin.

In fact, Singh is such an extremist that he not only supports the decriminalization of this highly-addictive, mind-altering drug, but he wants to decriminalize all drugs, including fentanyl, cocaine, crack and heroin.

Parental Rights
Bad

When he served as an Ontario MPP, Singh voted repeatedly against parental rights in the education of their own children.

He voted in favour of a law (Bill 13) to impose homosexual and transgender student clubs on all publicly-funded schools, including Catholic schools (which by definition are opposed to homosexual practice).

Singh also voted for Bill 89, a totalitarian, anti-parent law which gave Children’s Aid agencies the power to ban Christian and other faith-based couples from adopting children, and the additional power to seize biological children from parents who disagree with LGBT and transgender ideologies.

NOTE: Always make your voting decision based on the merit of your local candidates, not the Party Leaders. If a local candidate in your riding has a green light rating from Campaign Life Coalition, vote for them, even if the Party Leader disappoints.
