He told a potential voter that he would support a bill to ban late-term abortions, an idea supported by PPC leader Maxime Bernier. However, in his response to the prospective voter (also a CLC supporter) he posited a false moral equivalency between the genuine right to life that every preborn human possesses vs. the counterfeit “right” to an abortion, by suggesting that, as a “supporter of individual rights and freedoms” he believes “there is definitely a crossroads you hit on the abortion issue”.
