Rating Comments: In March 2025, Mike Dawson resigned his seat as a New Brunswick provincial PC MLA in order to run in the 2025 federal election. In June 2023, he rightly voted to protect parental rights from a provincial Liberal motion that would have undermined them. However, at the time of his 2025 resignation, Dawson complained that the PC Party was deficient in its level of "inclusiveness", which could, possibly, indicate that he is succumbing to social liberal influences.
