Mr. Desgranges supports conscience rights for healthcare workers, and has some sympathy towards pro-life views. However, he is not totally opposed to legalized abortion or euthanasia. In an email response to a pro-life voter he equated the decision to murder a child in the womb with a decision to take or not take a vaccine. Clearly, there is no moral equivalence between the two situations. Mr. Desgranges needs a great deal of education on the humanity of the unborn child and the basic philosophical understanding that human rights flow from the fact that one is a human being.

Official party policy is pro-abortion and anti-traditional marriage. In fact, Trudeau's new candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up. On March 11, 2021, this MP voted to dramatically expand the euthanasia killing regime in Canada under Bill C-7, even extending it to people suffering from mental illness alone.

In June 2021, the MP voted against pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Later that month, this MP disgracefully revealed herself to be an enemy of parental rights, and science, by voting to pass Bill C-6, legislation that will jail parents for up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.
