In June 2021, this MP rightly voted in favour of pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Also in June 2021, this principled MP voted against Justin Trudeau’s parental prosecution bill, C-6, which seeks to put parents in jail up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.

Dane is a very committed pro-lifer who can be relied upon to stand on his principles. He has a perfect voting record as an MP in the House of Commons on life & family issues.

CLC was disappointed to see this stalwart pro-life MP endorse the pro-abortion, 2020 Conservative Leadership candidate Erin O’Toole, especially when there were two strong pro-life candidates in the race, MP Derek Sloan and Dr. Leslyn Lewis, behind whom all pro-lifers needed to rally.

He also boldly stated in an X-post: "I am honoured to have received the Green Light from the Campaign Life Coalition in my efforts to protect all life, from conception to natural death. When Ontario wanted to end the life of my son based on markers that he would be born with Down Syndrome, my wife and I made the easy decision to walk out of the doctor's office and start the fight for the lives of all of God's children. Jacob is the light of our life, and perfect in every way."
