Side-by-Side Candidate Comparison in the Riding of Leduc - Wetaskiwin

Rating Comments

In June 2021, MP Michael Lake rightly voted in favour of pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Shockingly, in the same month, Michael voted in favour of the totalitarian, anti-family Bill C-6 which will jail parents for up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex. This is a stain on Michael's otherwise pro-life and pro-family voting record.

CLC was disappointed to see this stalwart pro-life MP endorse the pro-abortion, 2020 Conservative Leadership candidate Peter MacKay, especially when there were two strong pro-life candidates in the race, MP Derek Sloan and Dr. Leslyn Lewis, behind whom all pro-lifers needed to rally.
