MP Nater's voting record as an MP has been a mixed bag. He supported the anti-family transgender ideology Bill C-16, but he voted consistently against life-destroying euthanasia bills. In 2016, he rightly voted in favour of a preborn victims of violence bill (dubbed "Cassie & Molly's Law"), but in June 2021, he voted against another pro-life bill (C-233), introduced by the same pro-life Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex. Also in June 2021, this MP disgracefully revealed himself to be an enemy of parental rights, and science, by voting to pass Bill C-6, legislation that will jail parents for up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.

MP Nater served as Deputy House Leader of the Official Opposition in the 43rd Canadian Parliament.
