MP Wagantall gave perfect answers to CLC's election questionnaire.

In June 2021, MP Wagantall's pro-life Bill C-233 to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex, was sadly defeated at 2nd Reading.

Also in June 2021, this principled MP voted against Justin Trudeau’s parental prosecution bill, C-6, which seeks to put parents in jail up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.

During the 2020 CPC Leadership race, MP Wagantall endorsed Leslyn Lewis, the pro-life, pro-family leadership candidate who was also supported by CLC.

In 2016, Wagantall put forward Bill C-225, which sought to amend the Criminal Code to make it a separate offence to kill or injure an unborn child while committing a violent crime against a woman while knowing she is pregnant. Sadly, the bill was defeated by the rabidly pro-abortion Justin Trudeau Liberals.

In 2023, the tenacious Wagantall put forward another pro-life bill, C-311, which once again sought to establish in law that knowingly assaulting a pregnant woman and causing physical or emotional harm to a pregnant woman are to be considered aggravating circumstances for the purpose of sentencing the assailant. Even this modest protection for pregnant women proved to be too much for the fanatically pro-abortion Liberal, NDP, Bloc Québécois, and Green parties to stomach, and they defeated it on June 14, 2023.
