Side-by-Side Candidate Comparison in the Riding of Windsor West

Rating Comments

Mr. Bezaire gave responses to CLC's 2025 Federal Election questionnaire that indicate his acceptance of both abortion and euthanasia in principle. Nevertheless, and his credit, he supports conscience rights legislation protecting healthcare workers from being coerced into participating in abortion or euthanasia procedures.

Official NDP policy is pro-abortion and pro-LGBT ideology. In 2012 this anti-science MP voted against Stephen Woodworth's principled Motion 312 to study whether a child in the womb is a human being based on the preponderence of evidence from modern medical science. He also voted in favour of the reckless, transgender 'Bathroom Bill' (C-279) which, if passed, will put young girls and women at risk by creating a counterfeit, legal 'right' for men to access women's bathrooms and changerooms. In December 2020, this MP voted to dramatically expand the euthanasia killing regime in Canada under Bill C-7. Then, on March 11, 2021, the entire NDP caucus actually voted AGAINST the horrible amended version of euthanasia expansion Bill C-7 that allows assisted suicide for people suffering from mental illness alone.

In June 2021, this MP voted against pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Later that month, the MP disgracefully revealed himself to be an enemy of parental rights, and science, by voting to pass Bill C-6, legislation that will jail parents for up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.
