Side-by-Side Candidate Comparison in the Riding of Saskatoon West

Rating Comments

In June 2021, this MP rightly voted in favour of pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Also in June 2021, this MP voted against Justin Trudeau’s parental prosecution bill, C-6, which seeks to put parents in jail up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.

When Mr. Redekopp ran for the nomination in University-Saskatoon, he told party members on at least two different occasions that he would not be supporting a pro-life position. We are also aware that he was asked by Conservative Party staff to run against Brad Trost in Saskatoon-University, due to MP Trost's outspoken pro-life positions.

Redekopp subsequently sought and won the CPC nomination in Saskatoon West, and seems to now be telling pro-lifers that he would support a pro-life position.
