Side-by-Side Candidate Comparison in the Riding of Dufferin - Caledon

Kyle used to be a solid pro-life MP. However, in recent years, he turned his back on his former pro-life, pro-family values. At an all-candidates meeting in 2019, Seeback responded to a question on abortion by stating that although he is "personally pro-life" he "would not vote for a piece of legislation on abortion that violates the charter and the Supreme court set out the Charter right to abortion very clearly. I would never ever vote for anything that violated the Supreme Court decision on the Charter with respect to abortion".

Seeback has also become a cheerleader for the homosexual agenda, often boasting of his support for Gay Pride Month, and applauding homosexual rainbow crosswalks installed in his riding

CLC was also disappointed to see this former, pro-life stalwart endorse the pro-abortion, 2020 Conservative Leadership candidate Peter MacKay, especially when there were two strong pro-life candidates in the race, MP Derek Sloan and Dr. Leslyn Lewis, behind whom all pro-lifers needed to rally.

Official Liberal party position is pro-abortion & pro-LGBT ideology. In fact, Justin Trudeau's candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.
